To receive money through Transi, your sender in the United States first needs to download the Transi app, create an account, and send a transfer to you in the Dominican Republic.
When sending the money, your sender can choose from Transi’s available delivery methods based on how you would like to receive it:
Bank Deposit: The money is deposited directly into your eligible bank account in the Dominican Republic.
Cash Pickup: You can collect your money in cash at a participating Transi Network location, in Dominican pesos (DOP) or U.S. dollars (USD), according to the transaction. You can validate an eligible Cash Pickup in advance through Transi WhatsApp and receive a unique OTP for collection. If you don’t use WhatsApp, you can complete the required identity and transaction validation directly at the Transi Network location by presenting your valid identification and the required transaction information.
Home Delivery: Your money is delivered in cash, in DOP or USD according to the transaction, directly to the address provided by the sender. Your identity will be verified before the funds are released.
Transi will keep the sender updated throughout the process, including confirmation once the transfer has been completed.
