Yes. Transi WhatsApp is designed with multiple layers of security to help protect your identity and your transactions.
As part of the onboarding process, recipients are required to verify their identity using a valid cédula or passport and photo/selfie verification. For eligible Cash Pickup transactions, the recipient’s identity and transaction information are validated again before the transaction is approved for collection.
Once the validation is successfully completed, a unique one-time password (OTP) is generated for that transaction. The OTP is required to collect the cash at a participating Transi Network location.
These verification steps help ensure that the transaction is collected by the intended recipient while providing a secure, faster, and lower-friction cash pickup experience.
