Your recipient first needs to complete a simple onboarding process through Transi WhatsApp by providing their full name, a valid Dominican national ID (cédula) or passport, and completing a photo/selfie verification to confirm their identity.
Once the onboarding is successfully completed, the recipient will receive a notification through Transi WhatsApp when an eligible Cash Pickup transaction is available. They can then follow the steps to validate the transaction, including confirming the transaction details and completing any required verification.
After the transaction is successfully validated, the recipient will receive a one-time password (OTP). They can take this code to a participating Transi Network location to collect their cash in Dominican pesos or U.S. dollars, with fewer steps and a faster pickup experience.
